Christmas Day Success

We had a very great and successful handout on Christmas. Even had some foods to share with Jesus House and City Rescue Mission.

We ran out of socks and coats but had plenty of everything else!

Thanks to everyone who donated their time , talent and or treasure..You are all my Angels!!!!

Received 235 pounds of great candy yesterday to add to our goodie bags for the Homeless Handout..People are generous...thanks Crow's Main Fruit Market of Shawnee , OK.....

two and a half weeks left to finish gathering and bagging all the necessities for the homeless!! We'll be BUSY BUSY.. Market was quite busy yesterday and that's a good thing. One more special order so will work on that today...

Great News

HERR Projects has received a HOUSE to have and use as we see fit! Now I have 2200 sq. ft. to house all my materials and actually rooms to set up as quilting , sewing , storage etc....This house came to me fully furnished and I will be having an estate / garage sale the weekend of the 19th-21st of November. All the monies made will go into a building fund..

In the meantime between sorting out and catagorizing everything for the sale I'm still avidly crocheting and working my market booth! People are beginning their Christmas shopping which is great for me..

Items for the Homeless handouts continue to flow in too....What a wonderful life I have..

Oklahoma County Fair

I entered Oklahoma County Fair last week. I entered 33 items and 30 won ribbons!! Some of these will now go to Oklahoma State Fair and the rest will be for sale in my OSU-OKC Farmers Market booth!!

Today I enter the Oklahoma County Fair with about 30 entries.Hopefully I'll come out with winning ribbons and cash premiums!Judging will be tomorrow and open for viewing after noon on Friday and from 8-12 on Saturday.

Be sure to come by the GARAGE SALE @ 2353 NW 11th St , OKC on Saturday. All monies will be used to buy supplies for the homeless this winter.

I've made some new critters for sale at OSU-OKC Farmers Market on Sat.;s and they'll make really great Christmas gifts..It's not too early to plan your shopping.

Sat. market was really nice. I saw lots of market friends and also received 2 large garbage bags of yarn!! Two more of my critters found new homes and I got 3 more special orders....Have a happy hooking week! Here is my new "Bull the Frog".

May is almost over , where did the time go??? I've been very busy keeping my critter corner supplied at market. The kids just love the animals especially the itty bittys....We've had over 75 tornados in the state in the last 2 weeks so that's keeping us on out toes and knees...Come out to OSU-OKC Farmers Market tomorrow and see my itty bittys for yourself....

Sat. was May 1st and a great market although it began with rain.Five of my critters found new homes and several more were highly desired by my younger shoppers.

I'm asking everyone to help me locate an out of print crochet leaflet called Baby Twins. I'm including a pic of the outside and inside contents. Please be on the lookout for this for me.........

Met a lot of new people today and saw a bunch of regular customers too. The weather was a tad chilly and VERY windy but nice. My critter corner was a hit with the little ones and if kids had $$$ I would have sold out!!!

I'm back!! Never really left but have been soo busy with market and now gardening and yard work..
